At Access to Healthcare Network, we believe that good health starts with access to nutritious food. That’s why we’re excited to introduce the ACCESS Market, a new initiative designed to help address food insecurity and improve health outcomes for the individuals and families we serve.

The ACCESS Market is more than a food pantry; it’s the result of a powerful community partnership. This program was made possible through the generous support of the Food Bank of Northern Nevada, Renown Health, Molina Healthcare, and Bank of America. Their commitment to improving community health helped bring this vision to life.

Award-Winning Innovation in Community Health

We’re proud to share that ACCESS to Healthcare Network was recently recognized as a Connection Champion at the 2026 Food is Medicine Symposium, hosted by the Nevada Chapter of the American College of Cardiology and the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine.

This recognition reflects the strength of our partnerships with the Food Bank of Northern Nevada and the University of Nevada, Reno School of Medicine, as well as our collective commitment to improving access to care and addressing food insecurity in our community.

Together, we’ve worked to reduce barriers to care, expand food access through initiatives such as on-site pantry services, and pilot innovative solutions like home food delivery to better meet people where they are. This award reinforces what we know to be true: when healthcare and nutrition come together, healthier communities thrive.

Food insecurity is one of the most significant social determinants of health. Without consistent access to nutritious food, individuals are at greater risk for chronic illness and poor health outcomes. At ACCESS, we know that healthcare extends beyond the doctor’s office, which is why we’ve integrated food access into our whole-person approach to care.

The ACCESS Market provides ACCESS clients with healthy food options through a client-choice model, allowing individuals and families to select foods that best meet their needs. By connecting people with nutritious food and supportive resources, we’re helping build healthier lives and stronger communities.

While the ACCESS Market currently serves ACCESS Health Network clients, our vision is to grow and expand its reach in the future. With continued support and collaboration, we hope to increase access to healthy food throughout our community.
