Nutrition Counseling – Personalized nutritional guidance to help you improve your health and feel your best. At Access to Healthcare Network, we understand that there is no such thing as a one-size-fits-all diet. That’s why we offer a comprehensive range of personalized nutrition services designed to meet the individualized needs of each of our clients. Whether you want to lose weight, manage a chronic condition, or simply learn more about food and nutrition, our Registered Dietitians (RDs) are here to help! Our team of compassionate and highly trained Registered Dietitians (RDs) will work with you to identify foods that fit your unique lifestyle, preferences, and nutritional needs and create a personalized plan that works for you. Diabetes Self-Management Education – Group class offering comprehensive education and support to help you understand and manage your diabetes. DSMES will support you in managing your diabetes in a way that fits into your busy life. You’ll gain practical skills to control your blood sugar by learning more about diabetes, what your blood sugar numbers mean, and how adopting healthier eating, physical activity, stress management, and other habits can improve your condition. You will also learn problem-solving skills to help you navigate daily life with diabetes. Upon learning these tools, you will decide on the ones you’d like to use to manage your diabetes. Diabetes Prevention Education – Group class offering long-term strategies and support to help you build sustainable healthy habits and reduce your risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes. The Diabetes Prevention Program is a lifestyle change program led by a trained lifestyle coach to help you learn new skills, encourage you to set and meet goals (weekly, monthly, and long-term), and keep you motivated. You will meet with a group of 8-20 people in a small group setting where you will share ideas, celebrate successes, and work to overcome obstacles. How much will these services cost me, and who qualifies?

The cost of our health education services depends upon your insurance plan. Contact us to find out more information. Many insurance providers cover the full cost of the workshop. Scholarships may be available for uninsured individuals who cannot afford the cost of attending the workshop.
